The National Socialist War Victim's Care (German: Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung, NSKOV) was a social welfare organization for seriously wounded veterans as well as frontline fighters of World War I. The NSKOV was established in 1934 and was affiliated to the Nazi Party.
 
This breast eagle was worn by members of the NSKOV. Much of the original silver finish remains. Maker marked "2" on the reverse, missing pin. This eagle is of slightly heavier construction than the NSKOV eagles I have encountered in the past.
