An original WWII German Heer (army) visor eagle. Constructed of zinc and missing much of it's original silver finish. Two out of the three original prongs remain on the reverse. Unmarked.
The German Army (German: Heer) was the land forces component of the Wehrmacht, the regular German Armed Forces, from 1935 until it ceased to exist in 1945 and then was formally dissolved in August 1946.
