As far as VFW membership medals go, this one is pretty nice. An early example, likely produced somewhere between the 1920's and 1940's. marked "V.F.W. NATL. HDQTS." (Veterans of Foreign Wars National Headquarters) on the reverse. This medal would have been available for members to purchase from VFW approved vendors, and often out of the VFW's magazine. Very good condition.
