A fine original Soviet badge for students of the Kazan Suvorov Military School. Multi-piece construction, great condition with no enamel cracking/chipping or loss of finish, however slight oxidization is present above the "Kazan" inscription of the badge and visible in photos. Maker marked matching spinner on the reverse. The silver portrait of Suvorov is attached to the screw post and secured via a nut at it's base, which the spinner rests atop. 
 
The Kazan Suvorov Military School (KzSVU) (Russian: Казанское суворовское военное училище) is a Russian military academy based in Tatarstan. It serves as one of the country's many Suvorov Military Schools funded by the Russian Armed Forces. It is currently decorated with the Order of the Red Banner.
