A very nice 1950's Soviet Military Academy graduation badge, complete with original maker marked spinner. Multi-piece silver construction with white and red enamel. Excellent condition aside from some dirt/dust which could easily be cleaned off by the buyer. 
 
Academy badges of this type were approved by the decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1950 ,and entered into service by the order of the Minister of war on January 29, 1951. They were produced until 1957.
