A very nice and large badge here, comemmorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the 5. Rheinisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 65. For more information on the regiment, click here.
 
This badge would have originally have had a small section of ribbon hanging from the bottom of it, which is why you see the remains of a ribbon device on the reverse. Sadly, it is lost to time. This badge is rare, and displays very well even without it's ribbon. This badge is large, roughly the side of a wound badge but slightly wider.
