A very nice and desirable tinnie here commemorating the 1st Gau Parteitag held in Hamburg on Feb 24, 1934. Inscribed on the badge is: Parteigrundungsfeier Vereidigung der Politischer Leiter ("For the swearing-in of the new political leader"). Very well made compared to later tinnies and day badges, silvered tombak construction with soldered pin/catch to the reverse. Unmarked example. Condition is as depicted in photos, much of the original silver finish remains.
