A very nice original Weimar Era German "Prussian Badge for 25 years of Meritorious Firefighting Service." This badge is in excellent condition and would be difficult to upgrade from. A working pin and catch are present on the reverse along with "ORIGINAL" and "Ges. Geschutz." which appear on all officially produced badges. 
 
The Weimar Era German "Prussian Badge for 25 years of Meritorious Firefighting Service was also awarded for acts of heroism to firefighters, even without 25 years of service. Instituted in 1925, awarded until 1933.
