A striking and uncommon table medal here commemorating 70 years of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. This medal is fairly lightweight for it's size and measures at ~3.25" across. The inscriptions on the medal read "SOVIET FIRE SERVICE - 70 YEARS" and "OPO-6 GUPO Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. Great details and light patina.
