A very nice cased example of the Hungarian medal for Service to the Homeland. Instituted in three classes in the immediate aftermath of suppression of the Hungarian Uprising of 1956 for loyal service to the Hungarian Communist government. Award box is in excellent condition. Original ribbon bar is present and features two snap clasps for easy attachment to a pinback bar.
