This Purple Heart looks to be a 1945 U.S. Mint type-III Naval Purple Heart made of Bronze w/ Gold Gilting. It is suspended on an original ribbon with period correct sewn-on pin brooch on the reverse. Some light age is visible on the ribbon. Excellent condition overall.
