A great original Deutscher Schützenverband marksmanship badge from the city of Mannheim, Kurpfalz region - dated 1939. This badge is nicely maker marked to the reverse ("WAFFEN-KÖNIG MANNHEIM L.G.8.") and has a working pin and catch. This is a very well made badge and features the type of pin/catch that you would normally find on a larger, military style, badge.
