A striking original WWII German Heer (Army) ration sack here. Constructed of rough burlap-like fabric and stitched up each side with an open top. The front of this sack depicts a printed German eagle, the reverse reads "H. Verpfl 1944" for “Heeres-Verpflegung” (Army Supply Service). Some small holes are present and visible in photos but this piece displays very well despite them. Measures at ~48" x 28.5"
