A very "been there" example of the US WWI Victory Medal here. This medal's ribbon shows extensive discoloration and it's brooch has been separated, but thankfully is still present. This is a repair that I leave up to the buyer. 4 bars are present, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, and Defensive Sector. A unique example based on condition and number of bars, and relatively affordable as a result!
The World War I Victory Medal (known prior to establishment of the World War II Victory Medal in 1945 simply as the Victory Medal) was a United States service medal designed by James Earle Fraser of New York City under the direction of the Commission of Fine Arts.
