A very fine original Medal "For Labour Valour" here. Constructed of silver and enamels. Enamel is in excellent condition. Some wear is present to the medal, specifically along the outside rim. This medal has an uncut suspension ring and is mounted on a nice "low pin" brass suspension. Interestingly, it appears that two other ribbons are also attached to this suspension, portions of ribbon for the "Combat Service Medal" and medal "For Victory Over Germany" are present on the reverse.
The Medal "For Labour Valour" (Russian: Медаль «За трудовую доблесть») was a civilian labour award of the Soviet Union bestowed to especially deserving workers to recognise and honour dedicated and valorous labour or significant contributions in the fields of science, culture or the manufacturing industry. It was established on December 27, 1938.
