An authentic award from the Bulgarian People's Republic, awarded in 1975 in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Victory over Nazi Germany.
Established on 6 March 1975, it was awarded to veterans of the Bulgarian People's Army, participants in the Bulgarian resistance movement, & foreign citizens who took part in the armed struggle against German forces (& their accomplices) during the period of 1944-1945. Additionally, relatives of those killed in this struggle were eligible to receive the medal.
