A nice piece of Kriegsmarine insignia here! This is an original WWII German navy rank chevron and trade patch combination insignia, worn by a gefreiter who served as a torpedo mechanic. Shows some damage at the top, possibly from removal from a uniform. Excellent gold bullion embroidery with gold tresse to match.
