A nice original example of the N Korean Commemorative Order of the 40th Anniversary of the Fatherland Liberation War. This order is of multi-piece construction  with a functional pin and catch on the reverse. Very good condition.
 
The Commemorative Order of the 40th Anniversary of the Fatherland Liberation War was founded on March 3rd, 1993 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of victory in the Korean War, know in the DPRK as the Fatherland Liberation War. It was awarded to former combatants and high-ranking officials who were serving at the time of the anniversary.
