A very scarce veterans organization medal from the town of Neustadt an der Haardt (now known as Neustadt an der Weinstraße) dating to 1873. The ribbon on this medal appears to be white, but when looking at the reverse it becomes obvious that it is an incredibly faded blue and white. Maker marked on the pin plate by Deschler. Silver construction, finely detailed.
