A nice original tinnie here celebrating the 1934 Gau Tag in the city of Gera. Designed in the shape of an oak leaf, each individual leaf has an inscription on them which reads: "Gau tag Gera 1934" (center), "Es Lebe das ewige" (left) and "Deutschland" (right). Which translates into: "Gau Day Gera 1934 Long live Germany." This tinnie shows significant contact wear, indicating it was likely worn with pride by its original owner. As a result, some raised areas show softer details. Working pin to the reverse, stamped construction, unmarked. Measures 40x48mm
