A very nice example of the WWI service medal "For Democracy, Liberty, and Justice" awarded by the city of Rochester NY. This medal is engraved on the back to "N. Barth" and comes complete with an archival scan of Norman Barth's military service. Norman was attached to the 38th Artillery Division and served overseas from October 13th, 1918 to February 15th, 1919 and was honorably discharged on March 28th of the same year. Some discoloration is present on the reverse of the medal, fading is present on the ribbon, but overall it is in good condition and displays very well.
