This "Veteran of Labor" sash is new-old-stock from the Soviet Union. A sash like this would have been worn at a retirement party for a worker who had worked many years of exemplary service in the industry. The type of industry established the number of years required. Normally, the wearer of this sash would be simultaneously awarded the "Veteran of Labor" medal. 3.5" wide and 52" in length. The original Ukrainian factory tag is attached.
