An interesting piece and certainly not something you see every day. This medal was awarded by the MTS Miskolc City Council, for recognition of achievements in basketball. I believe it is a bronze grade, as I have a silver grade of this medal in stock as well. Sports publications from the early 1970s can be found from the MTS Miskolc City Council online with a quick google search. The ribbon of this medal is in nice shape, and is sewn directly to the suspension ring. The medal shows age visible in photos.
