A very rare Kadar era Hungarian army award banner for the "Vanguard Battalion" These banners are difficult to find, especially in the US. A sleeve is present at the top for hanging, along with the original pole and the remnants of a braided rope hanger. Measures at ~51 x 36 cm / ~20.07 x 14.74 inches.
