A rare and interesting badge here from the deutsche färber-verband, or German Dyers Association. This organization was active in the textile industry in Germany and can be found mentioned in publications from 1899 onwards. The badge itself is beautiful and features deep translucent red enamel. Some wear is present which is visible in photos. It is maker marked on the reverse with a working pin and catch.
